Anyway, I wasn't even up to one pint at the pub. Dinner, yes, of course. Starving. Wanted food, but not so much to stuff the stomach full. Exhausted from work (only 5 hours of it) and being cooped up indoors, I needed a swim more than alcohol after dinner. Didn't want schmoozing or conversation. Enough of that too. Needed some quiet and solitude. Considered a spot of jumping. On many days, I love perspiration dripping. It's kinda like...feeling alive. However, the idea of a cool swim was more attractive. Off to a totally empty pool in the dark. A long slow session in the pool. A surprising 40 laps. Hadn't done that in a while. Stretched out all the kinks.
Collapsed in bed to do admin stuff and scrolled through the calendar for the next two months. Packed. Very packed. And not at all packed for the trip happening in five days. Time is going to fly by in a blur. Weekdays in April, May and June are going to be taken up by a new project. Pekoe & Imp can only operate during weekends. Never thought I'd relish work this much. Fun, methinks. Feeling fulfilled still. I think nightly 9-hour sleeps are a must! Been averaging only five hours for a while now.
