Imp At Work

In contrast to the colorful saris, my entire suitcase contains only black and grey. The colors are so practical. I shudder when I see myself in work clothes. So boring hor. Dowdy even.

Also, I'm in pumps with chunky heels, not stilettos. I need the height, but the shoes have to be comfortable enough to be worn all day. Whatever, they fit the tone of all the events I have to attend.

Many people do change into a conservative evening dress of sorts for the evening events. I don't bother. I'll just be in the black/blue/grey dress worn in the day, but jazzed up with a statement necklace.

  2. I am (unfortunately) addicted to the shoes at Her Glass Slipper (Chevron House, 2nd floor). They have the most comfortable and balanced stilettos around - I can run after a bus in them!

  4. jomel: hehehehe. i didn't wear it here of course. locked away at home!

delphine: i like some of the labels the boutique carries. but it's not a 'browse' place for me coz it's fairly out of the way. so if i hop down there, i will buy2 just to justify going all the way! you just reminded me that a trip is in order. :)

moo: HAHAHAH. no lah. i think she's shaking someone else's hand.

  6. I feel your pain. My first job required me to wear boring suits. Luckily for me, in my current line of work, I kinda get away with wearing dresses, sometimes the girly frilly ones even!
