In contrast to the colorful saris, my entire suitcase contains only black and grey. The colors are so practical. I shudder when I see myself in work clothes. So boring hor. Dowdy even.
Also, I'm in pumps with chunky heels, not stilettos. I need the height, but the shoes have to be comfortable enough to be worn all day. Whatever, they fit the tone of all the events I have to attend.
Many people do change into a conservative evening dress of sorts for the evening events. I don't bother. I'll just be in the black/blue/grey dress worn in the day, but jazzed up with a statement necklace.

ReplyDeleteI am (unfortunately) addicted to the shoes at Her Glass Slipper (Chevron House, 2nd floor). They have the most comfortable and balanced stilettos around - I can run after a bus in them!
