I am most intrigued with the way they term, brand and present the carrot to all thrilled citizens. It's a fantastic public relations exercise.
I am awaiting with bated breath what 2009 will bring.
Oh, and I just dumped my b***e of S$400 into my favorite old folks' home at Toa Payoh and animal charity who could not get IPC status because they don't serve humans.
Do the going-ons within party ranks affect me? Of course!
Do I get to vote? No. Haven't voted before. Probably never need to.
Call me apathetic. Moderately so.

i don't think i need to vote either. i'll just enjoy the extra cash thanks.
why never spell out b***E!!!???
i put mine to the charities too. i don't want to look at my new bag or wallet thinking that the govt contributed to it. i'm passing it back to charities. mine went to BCF and CWS!!!
I have not voted previously and did enjoyed the extra cash. But I guess for the coming one, you and I might have to vote. Unless you ain't a Singaporean, if not we have reached the legal age to vote. I consider it a sad thing...the aging sign...
as much as everyone is complaining and kpkb-ing, everyone is stilling cashing the $$$ out....
hah. i am so using mine to subsidize my easter holiday.
Am impressed. You are indeed generous.. =)
Yay! :) I thought the papers said that you could only put it into 10 charities so I didn't even bother to click that option. Figured I'd take the money out and put it in the charities I wanted to!
xia mi mi: me not generous. me just decided that i don't want the money and don't need it. the charities need it more than i do.
dawn: exactly. limited options. so i took money out and dumped it into what i want. they can officially top it up after 2 May.
