As a child, I love Enid Blyton. I love the worlds she created of the idyllic English countryside and shifting magic lands. I devoured her writings. But most of the books in my bookshelf are now yellowed, tattered and torn.When I zipped through Borders, I spied these pretty collections of The Wishing Chair and The Magic Faraway Tree. These were probably the collections that got me started on the genre of fantasy. I pounced on them and brought these treasures home.
Yes. I'm reading the adventures all over again this weekend.

And the collections are really pretty.
i shall dig out those Famous Five and Secret Seven stuff. i remember the times we zipped in and out of each other's houses with weird clues!!
It was the Hardy boys n Alfred Hitchcock and the Three Investigators for me.

I still have my books with me... and hee, the entire Enid Blyton, including my very first book that cost me my perfect eyesight!
