We didn't want to waste time sitting down to dinner elsewhere. Pub grub here was decent. Any remaining hunger pangs would be supplemented by liquid fuel at happy-hour prices of S$6-a-glass.
It felt incredibly good to sit around with girlfriends, do hysterical laughing and ignore the world-at-large. Of late, everyone's been really stretched at work. Too many things going on.
It's gotten to a point where we live just for the weekends where even if there's work involved, at least it's a bit of a breather.
