I'm so irritated.
The US Customs officials were so blardy rough with my big, pretty, expensive, still-new silver suitcase.
They inspected the suitcase with such zeal and strength. They managed to spoil the zips thoroughly.
Now I've to go get another big, ugly, inexpensive new suitcase.

woman! don't u know that while check-in luggage can be colorful, it cannot be expensive because it's literally disposable?!

Note : Get ugly, garish coloured, soft suitcase. First of all, no one else has your ugly suitcase so you can spot it a mile away (everyone else has chic pretty suitcases). Second, it's not too expensive. Third, lots of space :)
it's not just america. make it europe and australia. they've evil customs officials who take perverse pleasure in ripping apart your luggage.
only on business and first class then maybe they'll be nicer to your luggage.
