Somewhere Quiet

On mundane Sundays, we like to swing by Dempsey Road for lunch. There are so many choices for food to suit our palate for the day.

Then we'll stock up on fresh produce and groceries.

There's something very nice about strolling through the tiny aisles to grab what we need.

After the intial buzz petered out, this place is not madly packed with crowds anymore. That made for a nice shopping experience.

It is a part of Singapore where we don't see too many tall buildings with a steel and glass facade, yet.

On indulgent afternoons, we'll buy a small tub of hazelnut ice-cream and finish it before we reach home.
