Mine Part II

The man's second gift to me is also a promise.

A promise of love and being in love. He gave me the promise of sharing life's trials and tribulations; sharing laughter and humor; for both us to continue to grow and mature as individuals in an equal partnership. He gave me the promise to cherish our relationship in the way we're both comfortable with.

Right from the start, I asked him to never talk about marriage. Three years on, he simply wanted me to know how happy he is in this relationship, how it's being shaped to something substantial by the both of us without too many unreasonable demands.

We don't know what the future holds. He doesn't care either. He's happy to hold my hand while we check that out. He says he likes to see this ring on me. It's like a commitment to our relationship. Perfect. I don't like the idea of anything more than that. If we stay together, that'll be great.

I like gifts without any demands attached along with them. I envy you a lot and extremely happy for the both of you that 3yrs so strong together and still going stronger as each day passes by.
I have been questioning about my own relationship quite alot recently until I am so 'confused'.
Still waiting eagerly for the last trilogy.
