While presentable and creative, the food at the seminar was a little boring. I wanted nasi lemak. There was no way I could go out to that little back alley to have the usual tasty nasi lemak. So I settled for the sanitized version at Madam Kwan's in Mid Valley. It came with a really refreshing achar. It was good.
We also had fishhead in assam gravy. The gravy was delicious! But the fishhead was overcooked and a little disappointing. I dribbled gravy and the sambal chilli all over my rice. I finished it all. Heh.
We had to walk around rather briskly just to digest all that food. The colleague was very focused and bought her 2 pairs of black heels. I couldn't convince her to buy other stuff to fill up all that space in her extra duffel bag (for shopping!). I didn't buy a thing! Oh well, I bought just one cardigan because I didn't have any more clothes to wear for the flight home.

D's sister in Aus is a big big fan of Mdm Kwan... we only ever go there when she's in town. But the food there is pretty good.
