The friends couldn't make it to dinner tonight. But they sent me flowers and chocolate, along with their driver at my disposal. So I went to Maeshima Sushi on my own.
Their shipment of fresh stock was delayed. So instead of the usual Tuesday, they would only have a huge variety tomorrow. No worries. I was quite happy with whatever they had. And what they had was good enough for a simple dinner.
Dining alone was exhilarating. I got extra attention from the chefs and servers! And a hefty discount off the usual MYR230++ omakase price.
Kachunknorge, M-san said hello. He took very good care of me too. He grilled cubes of succulent Kobe beef for me, on the house. Omigawwd....taddaaaaaa, they noticed that I permed my hair!!! *squeal*
I polished off a 250ml bottle of cold sake as well. For dessert, they gave me a juicy Momo peach to help settle in all those food.They also convinced me to go back tomorrow night for a proper sushi meal. I definitely need feeding. I so look forward to it!
