The trainer had placed these puzzles at the side table for us to fiddle with.
This mouse occupied me all of today. I was obsessed with it. The point was to get the cheese off the mouse.
I pulled, pushed and twisted. The cheese stayed.
Then I shook the toy and spun the movable triangle of cheese. Something inside rattled. I was fairly sure that in order to get rid of that cheese, I had to spin it. But I couldn't get it off. It could be a pull and spin or push and spin. Nothing worked. The cheese stayed.
I even threw it on the floor. But the cheese stayed.
The trainer was most amused. At the end of the day, she revealed the secret of getting the cheese off. She held the head of the mouse and spun the cheese really hard. It flew off.
Oh.
It was a screw-release motion triggered by really hard spins.
I see. DOH!
