We were treated to a extravaganza of Sri Lankan dances by the students from the university. They presented the whole gamut of dance forms and traditions in the country. There were 15 items for the evening.Loved all the colors that swirled around. The rhythm and beats were so different from what I was familiar with. It was quite a visual and sensory treat. I watched the dances quite intently, ignoring the buffet line behind. (I fully intended to sneak out after anyway.)
