A Good Surprise

I really like this new discovery.

The Isle of Jura 16 y.o is creamy and fragrant. Very very smooth. It's rich and full-flavored with only a slight hint of peat. Everyone agreed on the vanilla nose and taste.

We don't like the Isle of Jura Superstition. It tasted really really strange and salty. It took a leap of faith for us to try the 16 y.o. Surprisingly, the FaerieFolk unanimously okayed this bottle. It will probably go down as one of our favorites. Thank goodness the 16 y.o is totally different from the Superstition.

Add a splash of soda, it's a really easy whisky to drink on a quiet weekday night.

I think I really must start to embrace the fine art of whisky drinking one day. The way you describe these premium alcoholic pleasures is simply intoxicating! hic...
