Went Home With Big Orange Paper Bags

The major damage to the credit card wasn't done at Chanel. It was done at Hermès.

We didn't exactly plan on buying anything. (Like earlier at Chanel) We didn't order anything either. We just wanted to see what sat on the display shelves. Mommy likes the Birkins and Kellys. She wears them well. She looks great carrying the bags and not as though she's a fashion victim with the bags carrying her.

I admire the fine leather and handstitched quality of the brand. But I'm just not into the Birkins and Kellys or anything in exotic reptile/ostrich leather. I love my Lindy. I like my other ones that I can never remember the names of. Like the brown I'm carrying in the photo. That's a lovely casual sling.

We saw a couple of new items. There were some new designs by the line and new colors for the rest. What were the chances that the boutique had new stock delivered just 2 days ago, and nobody bought them yet. Between Mommy and I, we walked into Hermès with one Hermès bag and walked out with three.

love the packaging! and really cool purchases of 3 bags! would love the non hurried way of shopping. not fighting with the throngs of crowd. that's with exclusive brand shops. no one tossing clothes and bags outta the shopping bins. :P

Oh, I saw someone carrying this H bag and I thought it was really nice in terms of size and length.

tuti: got 2 only! well, i think it's a total mess inside the designer shops too. SO MANY PEOPLE! at some boutiques, there's even a queue to go in. yucks.

kikare: heeee. i never did say what label it is! i've another one in different color!!!!

lms: good size. length is adjustable, so no issue. very very well made for sure.

It's a Evelyn III, looks really good on you! I was at the boutique this afternoon. Bought a Longchamp bag instead for my year end trip. Way cheaper than H or C, heeee....

supercoati: OOH! you know the names! Heh. You've the III too right?! Or is it the II. i can't tell! if year end trip is roughwear, then longchamp will do. otherwise, i'm sure you heart will ache for the hermes if you throw it all over.

mochalatte: can i say not to buy Kate Spade (and Coach) at the shops in sgp? buy them online. much cheaper and it's a fair price.

Heading to Rajasthan at the end of the year. Somehow carrying a H or C seems all wrong especially when I intend to bring and show the boys the poorer part of Delhi.

Ooooo....what did you get? Peektures?

Oh on the topic of the 2.55. Met a friend yesterday who told me that her 2.55 was pinched from under her nose in a restaurant in Paris, a mere 8 hours after she bought it! Ouch!

UGH. there was a G bag- i tell you, i confess i didn't ask how to spell it only till later to realize it's spelt Gao. I got another Evelyn III in blue. :) I don't know the names of the others already. There's a P i think. hehehhehee. Terrible i am.

hurhur changed my mind to Longchamp instantly..perhaps I'm not a crowd follower..usually KS, L or C bags become so common dat sum ppl dress horribly with it..can't spot the 'real' authenticity too..spoiler.. =/
