Day Of Sweets

I suspected that lunch was just an excuse to line the stomach so that eveeleva could go straight to dessert at The Daily Scoop. The woman had her eye on the ice-cream since...probably at the time of wakefulness this morning. I stuck to coffee. I feel no affection whatsoever for ice-cream nor any inclination to pop a mouthful. However, I know this one other girl (not in town right now) who would have loved to be here and finish that scoop of whatever flavor faster than we could.

I got a super super cute pressie from eveeleva and her boys. It was a such a clever heart-tugging add-on gift to their already generous donation. No prizes for guessing the cause they donated to. (Nothing to do with the panda. That's just World Wildlife Fund's logo on the useful tote holding the plushie.) The awesome people remember it to be one of my secret likes.

Then we made a pit stop at Plain Vanilla Bakery simply to take a look and say hello to Vanessa. (Smitten Coffee & Tea Bar currently stocks their cupcakes.) Small batches of limited traditional solid win-win flavors were put out on sale. Those would do great. Of course we couldn't resist getting munchies for our favorite humans hard at work in the office and wouldn't mind a dose of happy sugar.

Hey Imp,
I'm writing to ask you about your previous post on 7Adam. Is it a kid-friendly restaurant? Thinking of going there with a few friends & kids.

D: check with them? I'm not sure. The menu isn't kids friendly though. Main dining hall is fine for kids, but dunno if they've got high chairs. La Braceria at Greenwood is.
