Bar Constellation No.2

It seemed like we kept playing phone bingo calling Bar Constellation No.2 (33, YongJia Road, 永嘉路) to pin down a table. They don't seem to pick up the phone, ever. The second time we tried going, we simply rounded over at 9.45pm and they were closed! Arrrrrgh. They were supposed to have opened at 9pm during the Lunar New Year period. Hmmmph.

I rarely hit No.2 during the last visit because it wasn't along the way to my destinations even though it's located in town. Anyway, we finally got through to the bar over the phone, booked a table and sat down for a drink at No.2 at 9.30pm. It was crowded. They didn't open the second floor and the ground floor hit full capacity before 10pm. Where did all these alcoholics come from?!

Had stiff shots of Tullibardine 1988 vintage edition. Very strong, very nice. Although I stared quite hard at my glass because the ice came in a square instead of its expected round. Whatever. It was still a solid piece of ice. Towards the end of the night, I wanted something lighter that would taste almost non-alcoholic. So I picked a Moscow Mule that the bff had earlier. I took a sip from her mug and loved it. I love ginger beer. When mine came, I was glad that the bar used a proper ginger beer and not ginger ale. :P In all the bubbles and sugar, I couldn't really taste the vodka. Not that it mattered.
