Bar Constellation No.3

We've been going to the good cocktail bars in the city, a much better experience than the last round. Somehow, all the bars have upped their game and begin to make pretty decent concoctions.

Nice and spacious, Bar Constellation No.3 (251, Huang Pi Bei Road, 黄陂北路,近江阴路) is my favorite-st of them all. This is the branch that I turn up at, again and again, as often as I can during the sojourn in the city.

If I'm alone or with just another human, we would plonk ourselves at the bar, or simply stand around the ample space. Tonight, we had a large group. Thanks to the bff's 'anal-ness' about reservations wherever we go, we secured a comfortable table at No.3. When we walked in at 10.15pm, it was packed out with ours being the only empty spot. Whoa.

We had 2 beautiful bottles of single malts. A Highland Park 18 y.o and a bloody awesome Balvenie 30y.o. We still ordered a round of mojitos, and decided to order a second. When the server apologized for being unable to serve the second order of mojitos because they had ran out of mint leaves, we blinked. Win lor. We returned to trusty whisky. No way they would run out of that. Whisky it remained for the rest of the night as new and old friends found out we share common interests, causes, passions and ideals, and not afraid to turn them into concrete action.
