Somebody Needed Shoes

A really random shopping date with the friends. Only because one needed to buy a pair of black heels for the office. Okay. Whatever. To Vivocity. The shoe section at Tangs and the Ecco boutique would be manageable. I could just sit down and talk to my phone, or chat with another because she couldn't be bothered to even try finding shoes in Singapore. No size for her. Neither could she get the brands she likes. She has more or less given up on shopping in the city except for necessities.

One woman was smart. She was bored by the shoes in a matter of 3 minutes and ran off to the foot reflexology centre for the next hour. I considered joining her, but decided to pass. Feet didn't need no rubbing. I said yes to the shopping session so that I could catch up with the girls. Luckily, a pair of black heels was rather easily procured. Not too bad. I didn't have to gnaw on the shelves and racks out of tedium.

Then they fed me dinner. There was sangria and wine. I was a happy camper, although the coasters were rather disturbing. They were so ugly. Having dessert standing up was a great idea. I took 2 spoonfuls of the whatever-chocolate-cake. Quite yummy. Each time I hang out with them, I'm reminded of how awesome these individuals are, and how much I enjoy their company. :)
