One Cup Of Tea
My approach to tea is similar to everything else I'm interested in. A liking for a topic or activity would likely translate into a serious hobby, and effort will be spent on picking it up properly, in Singapore, and especially outside of it. My tea journey so far has been short, but very very intense, and I want to make sure that that intensity makes up for the lag.
Like every subject, tea is the centre of contention and differently held opinions. Like a good student, I'll read as much as I can about it, absorb all conflicting opinions, and form my own based on whatever scientific theories published in acknowledged journals and knowledge gleaned from accumulated personal experiences. I'm really not interested in discussing about tea in relation to religion, traditional medicine or herbal remedies.
The whole point of all these efforts, is so that I could, in an instant, use the vessels I have at hand, factor in the different environments, and use every advantage I could, or be flexible enough to adapt and compromise, to brew a consistent cup of good tea that ought to taste pretty decent to most. That, is all I seek.
