It didn't feel that long ago when I sat in reflection at the start of Lent. This year's Holy Week met Pesach, which mark both faiths in mine and the man's families. Easter morning began with breakfast at the friends', then we headed out to mass. There were homebaked hot cross buns, homemade jam, dukkah and granola, and store-bought gorgeous butter, fruits and eggs. Something fortifyingly simple against the complicated matters of the world and looming conflicts.
And he said to them: Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise again from the dead, the third day: And that penance and remission of sins should be preached in his name, unto all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
