Stopped by at Ryan's to buy chicken feet and gizzards for the dog, and found lovely pork chops too. Decided to eat in that night then. Lemongrass and chilli pork chops and vegetables + brown rice — our dependable combination staple at home. The pork chops were sous vide and finished with a sear in the pan.
Also found gorgeous eringi (or eryngii), the huge king trumpet mushroom. I love mushrooms. These were irresistible. NOMS. The man stir-fried it with cabbage and peppers. I blanched one for Choya. Mushrooms are good for her and she doesn't reject them. She seems to like the stems.
The BFF texted to ask what I was doing for dinner. I had things to pass to her too, so she hopped in to eat. Eggs for everyone! A hard-boiled egg for her, and sous-vide eggs for us. She also wanted to take some photos of the dog to send to her nieces. Dog wasn't that cooperative. She allowed the BFF to do dunno-what-stuff to her, but her expression was priceless. So judgey! LOL Nieces couldn't fly into Singapore to see dog. I was like, haha, whewww. Nieces will want to chase, grab and hug and kiss the dog. This dog won't stand for it! When the little girls could next fly in, it would be a whole year later. The BFF would have missed out so much on her nieces' growing years. She generally sees them twice a year. Haizzzz. None of us want to fly out for fun and return to the current requirements of a 21-day quarantine. We can't even quarantine at home!
It was one of those days when we just sit down for a casual meal. An easy hour. A fuss-free and unfanciful one-dish meal. There was beer, but I skipped it, since I was still woozy. Increasingly, I don't seem to need alcohol very much nowadays. Vertigo's a bitch. I wasn't at 100% that night. Was hovering at the 80% mark maybe. The ear crystals were still threatening to dance. I could feel them. I've drastically decreased caffeine and cut out alcohol these two weeks. Gotta go easy on the stimulants.

i will get vertigo if i miss taking my multi-vitamin for long.
maybe i am weak. so i pop one when it's like coming to a week and a half not taking the multivitamin. i take neovita multivitamin. comes in a gold color paper pack, made by savoy lab, england. i also have neuorogen E, that's vit E high dose for nerve building when i think i need a boost. wah, these plus all the others mentioned in the previous post. just to keep mr vertigo at bay. my last last bout took a whole of 2 years to get better, ie., when i look down from a building, i don't get dizzy. before that, even looking at a bubble lift from afar, i get dizzy,
so when i was presenting the rosary making sessions 2 years back, it was trying. as i sit in the cab, with one eye closed, and not turning my head.
If the multivits help you, take them then. Vertigo hits when you most unexpect it, doing the most mundane of tasks. Ugh. Hopefully the bouts don’t return to your ears so soon.
yes, it hits suddenly. now i try not to put my head in certain angles, like bending too low. it will disturb the crystals. say for example, if i am looking for something under my desk. or if i lie on the "wrong" side, and i can't lie my head too low.
sorry about going on about this. just truly like to share helpful tips, as vertigo is awful.
okay, i pray they will go off soon for you. take care, dear imp.
not at all, P. thank for sharing! if we never have had vertigo, it can be rather difficult to understand how some people can have that for so long. because there aren't obvious 'symptoms', it seems all so surreal and some won't believe us. Happy to hear your experiences, although i'm not so happy to know if yours continues on and on. UGH.
