Sunday Roast at Hubs

Of course we had to go to Hubs for the Sunday Roast this season! They don't do it every Sunday now, but this month, they're offering a special Christmas set. Made a reservation and happily turned up at 2pm for a late lunch.

We could opt for either roast turkey or roast beef. You could choose to have a regular mash or a festive mash of carrot and Swede. The meat came with pork stuffing, parsnips, brussels sprouts, roasted potatoes, gravy and Yorkshire pudding!

We love it that the floofs are welcomed here. It's hot outdoors at mid-day. Sure, it's sheltered and away from the sun, but still. At least at this time of the year, it's cooler and we could feel that it isn't so humid. 76% humidity at 27°C is so manageable compared to August when it was at 86% humidity and 34°C.

We had Guinness along with the meal, of course. But we went easy on the alcohol. We probably had half a pint each and ditched the rest when it got warm. It was a very merry Sunday Roast indeed.
