Our dear friends hunted down the dvd of the 'Serenity' movie in Baltimore and brought it home. It features the extra scenes, the deleted scenes from the movie.
WHEEEEEE! Am such a fangirl. It isn't really about Joss Whedon. Nope. More about the idea of the ship and its mission. The actors really brought the plot to life. They settled so easily into their characters.
The silly underground screening of the movie won't beat flopping in front of the tv and watching this dvd version. I can't wait to watch it over and over and over again.

ohh...this so rocks. i just watched it yesterday. gave up on the skiing for it.
battlestar galatica is cool too!
i'm going to scour ebay or something for this. i have th series. damn good. but i'm not sure if there can be a season 2. a little hard to top the stories in season 1. unless to develop some other character.
