Chinese Hamburger

This was a childhood haunt for economical Chinese dinners. We haven't been back here for eons. We hopped by for a casual dinner. Minor touch-ups have been done to the decor. Otherwise, it still looks the same as 10 years ago. The food, we heard, has been consistently good.

Of course we ordered its famous Kong Bak Pau. The Kong Bak (pork belly) was definitely ¾ fat and ¼ fatty meat. Ooh-so-tender and ooh-so-unhealthy. If we squeeze all the fats out into oil, it could probably fill up a 330ml bottle.

The freshly steamed buns that came along with the meat were soft and fluffy. Delicious even when eaten hot on its own. We soaked the buns with the meat and doused it in its superb gravy and bravely wolfed them down.


No. We do not want to know how our arteries are clogging because of this meal. 

No. We do not want to be reminded that such sinfully tasty food is invariably unhealthy.

Yes. We want to remember those tasty morsels swirling around in our mouths!
