Happy Veggies

The man went out to grab vegetables to make soup stock. The multi-colored vegetables thrilled me. Happy colors. Roots are the best to use in making vegetable soup stock.

First to bake, then to boil. So here we go. Soup stock to make all sorts of stuff for my lunch this week. Or just soup to heat and slurp it all up in the evenings when I'm all stressed and solid food doesn't appeal.

i dunno. the man said baking it with garlic, onions etc brings out more flavor during boiling. it kinda makes it thicker.
