In their usual morning ritual, the old couple sat by the lake, minding their own business and eating their morning meal.I couldn't resist snapping this shot. It tugged at the heartstrings. How sweet. I'd love to imagine that they survived the war and stayed together since.
They didn't need words. Just each other's company.

OMG, I think this is the same couple I saw when I was there!!!! They were walking hand in hand before they sat down at the lake - at the exact spot in your pic!!!
