The man raided the fridge and whipped up a simple dinner of pumpkin soup, vegetarian pasta and saute mushrooms.
We had Reconstruction running on the dvd.
Maybe the carbs kinda zapped our brain cells. But we didn't quite get the movie. Yes, we got the film angles, the gritty grain, the arty lighting and all. The dream logic bit aside, we didn't quite get the sequence of the movie.
Even with the sugar rush from the girlfriend's key lime pie and (awesome) fudge brownies, we weren't too enlightened. We figured that we must be really dense.
It triggered off this after-dinner discussion of dream scapes. We all sat around googling to make some sense of Christopher Boe's directorial inclinations.
I'm pretty sure we're all going to have strange dreams tonight.
