A Moment

And I give thanks for these friends. They are each so talented in the arts. Writing, speaking, dance, theatre, arts and craft. Heck, bring in cooking too. The men and the women - all equally stellar.

We are all linked by a love for music. When we gather, we speak of a common passion, a shared vision. Each time I hear the music play, I'm reminded of how blessed I am to have these FaerieFolk in my life.

Now that I see this photo of the piano, reminds me yet again that i have to buy kelly a piano. She has been taking piano lessons for 3 mths now and everytime her teacher asked if we have gotten her a keyboard or piano, cos' she needs to practice. The only think that's hindering her progress now is the lack of practice. To make me feel even worse, she actually enjoys her piano lessons very very much. I have to go piano hunting this weekend, feels so bad for dragging it week after week. I am thinking of getting a digital piano though, because there's the headphone function which suits condo living better. And also because there's no tuning needed.. and it's more fun to play with (for a non-pianist like me). I intend to learn to play too once I get one of those. :)

jomel: we used to think a keyboard's not like a real piano. but nowadays, the digital keyboards are very stylish and high-tech. it sounds like a real piano and importantly, the tensile strength of keys are similar. so it's not a great difference between a real one and a digital at this young learner's level. for space and sound consideration, ur idea of a digital sounds better for ur girl? she'll be quite happy playing with it i bet!
