It was the last dinner in Colombo and they served Western! ARRRRGH. Why. I was sorely missing spices and thought I could have them before leaving the country.
Scooped itty bitty stuff from the buffet line onto the plate. Vegetables would be good. It was the official Closing Dinner of the work week and I had to stay for a bit. Ate hurriedly, bade farewell to the delegates and sprinted across to Raja Bojun for something authentic.

The second I saw the picture, I thought: what kind of weird western cuisine they're serving, why is it like a bit of everything?

hahahahahh! that was vegetarian food, but i really agree that the last meal should be something with hot and spices!
elaine: yup. i like keeping it vegetarian. i had great spicy vegetarian after at raja bojun too. my meals have been largely vegetarian during this trip. it kinda kept me alert for some reason.
