The Christmas lunch was a major affair. There were loads of food and humans.
In addition to the usual fare of Christmas turkey (8kg!!), ham, salads, pastas, curries, and the man's pilaf, we also had his aunt's specially stewed ox tongue!!
The table was laden with meats. This year's turkey was moist and very tasty. Of all the meats, I kept going back to the plate of sliced ox tongue. It was remarkably yummy!

I bet your judgement for the word 'yummy' is totally not a fib. Yearn to have some too.. ;)

celcilia: ahaahha. yes. no fib. i'm a super picky and fussy eater! i won't say it's yummy if it's not!
sinlady: are you inspired to cook?? or rather ask your man to do ox tongue for you!
i cook quite a bit and have handled of lot of yucky raw ingredients but ox tongue has got to be one of the nastiest things to prep. so i pass on cooking the stuff. i speak for the man too :) so enjoy it for all it's worth when someone else has cooked it :)
