Eating Well

The healthiest sort of meals would be vegetable sticks with dips. Since the man doesn't have to go into the office till Monday, he has plenty of time to ummm....cook.

We don't want to head to the supermarkets. Naturally, we have gone shopping at Borough Market where most of the stalls are fully operational only at 11am during this period. The stalls seem to open earlier at 10am in summer. Those sights and smells are beautiful. Of course the man bought plenty of stuff to stock up the cabinets this week. We haven't started on stocking up for the pantry in Singapore.

Today's lunch was really easy on the stomach and high in nutrition! We had boiled asparagus with a pinch of sea salt and plenty of dips. There was a yummy salad of Great Northern Beans in fresh tomato sauce and dill. We've bought plenty of sourdough bread. There was pâté to go along with warm bread.

The weather was all foggy today. Dreary. Nothing new. There're plenty of things to do anyway. We chose to have a homecooked lunch to create happiness.

"..homecooked lunch to create happiness." that's such a comforting thing to do, far away from home. anyway you guys are seasoned travelers, not a problem settling in.
