Day Out, Lunch
We drove out of Córdoba to the slopes of Sierras Chicas and headed to Villa Carlos Paz in Punilla. I was so tired and fell asleep for most of the journey, but once the ranges of Sierras Chicas came into sight, I was wide awake. There're the beautiful villas lining San Roque lake, which is really a man-made reservoir and is one of the largest artificial lakes in the world. Plenty of wind-surfers out there harnessing the wind.
Villa Carlos Paz is a very scenic city that positively oozes tranquility. As I stepped out to breathe in the crisp fresh air, I thought of how awesome it would be to check out the riding trails and take long walks around the region. Such beauty abound! A pity this is a lunch stop and nothing more. Still, it is awesome to get out and not be cooped in yet another conference room. :)
