Meeting The Girls

Two girlfriends living in France and Germany managed to sort out their schedules and finally hopped into town for work trips, coupled with a vacation when their meetings for the day were done. Rounded up another girlfriend living in Hong Kong who was able to fly in too, at short notice. This was all arranged in a matter of 16 days. Wieeeeeeee! We've always been very connected via Skype and whatever technology available to us. It's awesome that after the last meeting in London, we could meet again face-to-face.

The 4 of us met for breakfast, Singapore-style, at the local kopitiam in the middle of Toa Payoh town centre. Then we set off to the west of the island for a fabulous time...go-karting. Muahahahah. It was awesome because the morning rains cooled the venue. The sun didn't exactly come out, and the cloudy skies kept the humidity and heat in check. Best sort of weather to suit up, put on the helmet and zoom around the tracks. Exhilarating.

One decided that we should all have identical bags in different colors to commemorate this get-together. Easily agreed to and less corny because we don't live in the same city, and luckily for her, we happened to share the same opinion on the clutch that is fuss-free and not offensive to most sartorial senses. We thought to each buy our own. But she insisted on gifting it to us. Absolutely generous. We wouldn't say no. Heeeeeee. There was standard glossy chic black, statement deep red, cool elegant beige, and I got this sweet powder blue.
