So with bff's pronunciation of "Winter is coming!" way back in November, I didn't cut the hair. (Speaking of winter-ish things, can't wait for 31 March 9pm EST!!!) Then I completely didn't bother about it. Hate blow-drying. Most days, I whoosh out of the flat with hair that would still be dripping wet. It finally grew long enough to twist and stay up with one stick.
Never bothered with plaits till recently. But I could never do a decent French plait. "Why didn't learn from youtube videos?!" I was like...I watched them, but couldn't do it. The girlfriend proceeded to show me exactly how. And still, my fingers refused to follow what the brain thought. Couldn't hold the hair together. It's like crafting I suppose, I don't have these types of talents.
Each time I do a plait, it's messy and hair still flies all over the place. But whatever, so long something stays tied up, that's fine. Have had to look at the girlfriend's choice of hair and clothes every morning just so that we don't look peas in a pod. We've been wearing a lot of dresses. It's too hot to be in jeans. Cotton pants, yes, quite cool too.
