It's like, I could put the bubble-wrapped teaware into a plastic bag and be done with it. But it's just ugly. And the original drawstring pouches are cheaply made, and frankly, garishly ugly. If I could get more of these, I would. I can sew it, but why bother. These are items that I know crafters could make beautifully, and at a better quality than I ever could. I don't own that many gifted fabric pouches as of now. I've got like...five only. Insufficient for all my breakables. Between now and Christmas, it's too far away to be demanding for presents that I would like to have soon. Not now, but within the next few months. Gotta to search for more!
The pouches aren't that small. They're quite sizeable. Didn't quite know what to do with them till now. Heh. They're the perfect size for fitting in teapots, delicate cups and all. The pouches come in pleasing patterns, and this particular one in green and teal, matches one of my favorite ceramic gaiwans.
Thank you @fernoftheforest for this nifty piece! |
