It was with a whole lot of pleasure that I stepped into the gym for my first LES MILLS GRIT™ Strength class after the month's hiatus. I went easy on the weights though. 5kg-a-side. Prudent. To my surprise, that wasn't difficult at all. Next day, the muscle aches were minimal.
With a huge grin, I tanked up to the usual 7.5kg-a-side for the next week. It was perfect. It's always a much needed workout. I will stay at this weight for the year. The point is to get super comfortable with it, and strong enough to lift it until it becomes a breeze to do so.
The man and I have welcomed a new addition to the home. All of 18 months old, she's a sweet feisty little girl with a loud bark and a super shrill scream. I grinned when I realized she currently weighs just 6.9 kg. Good. She's full-size and isn't supposed to go over 8.5 kg. I shall fatten her up to 7.5 kg. Ahahahaha. The gym schedule won't take a backseat with the arrival of a dog. I need her well-adjusted to us coming and going. Otherwise we won't have a life.

18months! She still has such a puppy face! Going to welcome 2 little additions to our family next week too... yes, to a lot of adjustment ^^
I think of her as the partnet’s dog, not mine. Haha.
Oh! Bunnies? You met new loves?
A couple, about 18months too... will be welcoming them next Sat... human slaves indeed ;D
