Now that K, the pilates instructor has settled into her new studios (she's teaching freelance now instead of being attached to one studio), I've popped in to classes at one location. As far as a new studio goes, this one is literally brand new, freshly renovated and very clean. The central air-conditioning is super cold though. I keep having to wear a sweater in the studio, even for the 9am classes, when the air-conditioning has only just been turned on.
However, this new studio at Bukit Timah Plaza is located quite a distance from everything that's convenient to me. Haizzzz. I can't match the instructor's schedule for her dates at the alternative location (that's nearer to me). Of late, I haven't been inclined to do pilates more than twice a week. I need to figure out the how to fit in pilates for the next quarter. I'm not inclined to abandon one-on-one pilates classes and replace them with one-on-one gyrotonic classes. Although, I could, since the gym offers Reformer classes sufficient for my purposes.
Trying to find a convenient time for K and I both is still niggly. I'm also adjusting to a new schedule that juggles work with keep the dog mentally stimulated, walking the dog and feeding her. The damn dog has adjusted to her new life way better than I have. Anyway K is traveling soon; she's signed up for specialized pilates classes to further her knowledge and practice. Come July, I’ll have to re-look the entire fitness schedule for the third quarter of the year. Gaaaah.
