After a long trip where the man did have plenty of delicious food, he still had some serious craving for spices. Got together with a bunch of friends to dig into some awesome biryani and masala at Mr Biryani on Norris Road.
The restaurant has been opened for about a year. The space isn’t big. It fits a maximum of 30 persons. Didn’t ask if they utilize upstairs as dining space too. It gets a pretty good crowd for lunches and dinners. I didn't do any research to it prior to visiting. We've been going there for a few months now, and I finally decided to have a google. Oh, it's pretty much on many food review sites. No wonder the crowds are coming.
A full table meant that we could share the dishes. Even so, one portion of dum biryani was good for three small eaters. We umm...were greedy. Since there were four of us, we ordered two portions of biryani—chicken and lamb shank dum biryani. No regrets. They were both were fantastic. There was naan, and the brinjal masala and fish masala went gorgeously with it. The dhal tadka was a tad spicy. Good! I liked this version. What a superb meal.
