I was certainly not going to reject J's very kind offer of dinner at Suju. I was in need of yummy food and good company, and her proposed date matched my free evenings. J didn't mind a 7.45pm dinner since she had errands to run at the nearby malls. I'm sooo glad that the friends accommodate my schedule nowadays if we do dinner out.
I arrived earlier so that I could sip a glass of easy red before dinner. Hahaha. No umeshu tonight for me. Needed that few minutes of quiet to gather my nerves between walking/feeding/settling an anxious dog and tumbling out to Suju. Food took a long time to arrive tonight. We waited for a good thirty minutes. When it did, it came out to all the tables who had ordered at different times and were waiting too. We wondered if the kitchen ran out of rice and were busy cooking another batch of rice, and hence everyone waited so long. I haven't eaten at the restaurant for long while, and it felt so nice to quaff that lovely bowl of steamed white rice. Hurhurhur.
Ahhh, the happy evening was much appreciated. The best part, while I returned home to a whiny dog, she didn't leave me poop to clean up. Her level of anxiety is decreasing. Whewww. She'll have to get used to us traveling and such. We'll slowly get there, and repeat the whole process of calming her down, again and again.
