B's visiting for the week. She has been taken out to loads of places, including the Night Safari and Gardens by the Bay. One night, we hauled her out to Merlion Park at One Fullerton, and made her do that touristy pose of Merlion merlion-ing into her mouth. Teeehehee. She gamely did so. I promised her I wouldn't put that photo anywhere on social media. Hahaha. She could post that herself if she can get over it!
B was introduced to the wonders of Gokul, and was being blown away by their wide choices of vegetarian food and range of flavors available. The nasi lemak and chicken rice at Gokul are seriously good. We also went out to Three Buns for a taste of Impossible Burger because it's oddly done very well here compared to many places in the US. To complete B's Singapore experience, we had to take her out to Whole Earth too.
One cannot eat at Whole Earth if you aren't with a full table. Two persons' stomach space ain't enough. These sharing portions are best tasted with a group of humans. We ordered loads of stuff. While she's not hot about coconut milk in gravy and curries, i.e, laksa is a no-go for her, she's cool about other stuff without coconut milk. We wanted to introduce B to petai and oat cereal tofu. Hurhurhur. You know what? She now loves petai! Wheeeeeee.
