Bollywood Adventures (of Bollywood Farms) set up an Earth Shop & Cafe that co-shares space at Crane at Kim Yam Road. The city outlet arranged to have a food and groceries menu that we could order from during this period. Delivery charges are also sane, and we have the option of picking up as well.
Crane is sited at The Herencia at Kim Yam Road; there's plenty of parking. It's a much more convenient location to get our food from. Picking up our food is a much better option than having it delivered. Yes, the kitchen at Bollywood Farms produces all these familiar items on the menu that is refreshed weekly. I miss their food! And those lovely eggs and greens.
Y came over for lunch. Told her to come at 1pm so that I had sufficient time to clean up, feed the dog and prep the table. Pre-ordered our lunch from Earth Shop & Cafe. After walking the dog, we swung by Crane to pick up lunch.
I hadn't seen Y for a year! We were supposed to lunch out, but of course CB-Lite happened, and luckily we could still meet at home. It was nice that she could come over for the afternoon. It was very good to see Y and ask how she's doing. Conversations with her work better f2f than over texts on the phone.
Ordered the familiar sambal goreng, chilli eggplant, rendang chicken, sayur lodeh, urap, achar, and turmeric rice. Also added one carrot cake to share. Homecooked flavors that I love but can't quite produce in my kitchen. Hahaha. These portions were just right for three hungry people. Depending on stomach capacity for the day, this meal could also feed four. What an absolutely satisfying lunch.
