The BFF's New Home!

Ahhhhh..... was it just this January when the BFF decided to sell her flat and buy a new one and got things sorted within two months. Then over dinner a few weeks later, we congratulated her on getting the keys. That didn't feel so long ago. Before I knew it, she had her renovations completed in July, packed up her old flat and moved into this new one. Wow. She's bloody efficient.

She required no help with packing. She did it over two weekends. She didn't need me poking my nose into her stuff. She hasn't accumulated much junk or bulky items. She would do it faster without me around asking her 1001 questions if she still wanted something or to throw it out. On the day of the move, she didn't need extra pairs of hands either, since the movers sorted that out.

Unpacking and cleaning wouldn't require my efforts either. I only needed to know if my housewarming gift arrived safely and on time. So the day after the move, the gift arrived as scheduled. She even managed to set it up rather swiftly. The BFF was exhausted from all the unpacking and cleaning. She had to eat at some point. So we went out for a casual dinner in her estate.

At dinner, when the BFF arrived, Choya deigned to get up and went over to Godma's calf to sniff her, then promptly sat next to her and gave her a big bright smile. Hahahah. Smol Girl knows how to charm her way to Godma's heart. It was a rainy day, but the rains took a break in the evening before returning in the night, allowing us to eat in cool weather, and for Choya to get in a few pees and a good poop.

The location of the BFF's home matters to me. I'd hate it if she lives at either end of the island and it's somewhere really far away. Both her new and old homes are a 15-minute drive away from me. Yayyyy. This means that when I send my weird soups or congee over, they'll still be warm upon arrival, and just about ready to be eaten.
