Drinks, Spices & Love

Popped over to see the godson and the friends' floofs. Of course we loved to see J and L, but tonight, we prioritized the little tots. We went over early so that I could see my godson before his milk and bedtime. We kept Choya on the leash for a bit while the godson merrily toddled after her.

Godson is completely besotted with Choya, because 'new dog in the house'. He knows Choya. As he grows older, he wants more interaction with her. This brave boy knows no fear. LOL Okay, that's because Choya is a familiar floof to him She's rather good-natured with children, but I don't often let weird shriek-y ones near her, especially not not in public. She knows the godson and has smelt him since he was a baby. She likes him. She totally allows the godson to tug her fur, tail and ears, within a limited timeframe. And I happily permit it. I know Choya and I know my godson. Now, before anyone frowns upon this, know that it is supervised, and the little tot's grip isn't that strong yet.

Godson is 1.5 years old and learning about boundaries, how to approach dogs correctly and such. He knows some rules but not the others and often, he's excited and forgets them. So we supervised both floof and tot. Choya patiently let the tot handle her. Then we called for time-out. The tot was rather upset because he didn't' manage to progress to hugging Choya. Hahaha. He was carried away for milk and bedtime!

Ordered dinner in. Easy and tasty Indian food from Delhi Restaurant. There were lots of heartfelt conversation, easy laughter and sombre moments. We see one another regularly. This was another much treasured evening. As we all get older and do life, we're glad to have one another to do life together.
