Maddie turned 10, and she had a little cake party. We turned up to celebrate her, and wish her good health. Her pawrents said that on the vet's advice, she must be put on a diet to lose erm... 2 kg. Okaaaayyyy. Maddie recently lost her housemate and biological fur-mother Misty to canine osteosarcoma. She definitely misses her, but having everyone around does put her in an okay mood.
Now, Maddie and Choya aren't friends at all. They will have a go at each other with the slightest provocation. Luckily they can now co-exist and learn to accommodate each other's presence in the same room, with reasonable distance apart. Choya doesn't seem that bothered and will stay in a corner and asked to be left alone. However, by strolling around #LikeABoss, she is invading Maddie's territory, so that isn't cool.
Maddie is protective of her human brother, who is my godson. He loves toddling after Choya to touch her and tries to hug her. He's learning to be gentle with other floofs. So with a defensive Maddie, and when you throw my godson into the mix, it's chaos. So all of them have to have supervised interactions with one another. 😂
We thought we'd pop by to say hi. We didn't intend to crash our friends' dinner, but we did. Ramyeon with cabbage, and pan-fried gyoza. OKAY THEN! The point tonight was simply to catch up and have everyone co-exist in harmony. Yes, of course we had a few bottles of wine to mark the occasion. Hehehehe. Any excuse for a drink.
