To Little Ozi's Izakaya!

We were going to pop out to Kizuna anyway for their izakaya menu that night. Then the friends suggested, "Why don't you guys come over instead? The floofs would be happier. And we want your help to finish up some gin." I wasn't going to say no to that! Hahaha! And importantly, Choya is comfortable with them, and their floof Ozi.

The friends sternly told us to not to bring anything except for empty stomachs. We complied. But I brought a pork meatball for little Ozi! She knows I'd indulge her with treatos. I couldn't disappoint her. Ooof. She stuck by my side pretty much all night. Hahahaha. Choya and Ozi are perfectly fine hanging out together. Ozi is a ball of energy at home, but she doesn't bother Choya. She only goes by Choya to sniff and check in and leaves her alone. Choya loves that, and she's now comfortable in their home to wander around.

The friends sweetly assembled a cheese platter too. Oh such lovely hard cheeses! That was both appetizer and dessert. Loved it. The beef pastrami was a hit! They even gave us a 150g-pack of beef pastrami to take home. Aiyohhhh. That was in addition to all the noms that they already procured for Choya.

Then we still had food! For the mains, they ported over ⅓ of Kizuna's food menu. Hahahaha. I couldn't say no to the pork jowl. They really sliced it nicely and grilled it well. Ate that with garlic fried rice. Luckily the friends didn't over-order. Whewwww. There was one portion of leftovers, but nothing too drastic.

There was plenty of good conversation and gin to be had. We started with a light sauvignon blanc, then moved on to gin after. Nothing crazy. Just easy glasses for all of us on a lovely night in at Little Ozi's Izakaya.
