Thai Spices Galore

The friends took us out to dinner at Unyang Kordai. We like this restaurant but we haven't come by in a long while. It's really crowded, and impossible to walk in. Do make reservations even if it's just two pax.

I was sooo tickled that they also offered lo-hei. The yusheng served held smoked salmon and abalone, but it was more fruity and citrus with loads of vegetables. It was pretty tasty!

Once I realized that they pre-ordered the yusheng, I should have canceled the somtam. I wouldn't need it, but I put in the cancellation request 15-minutes too late, and it still arrived. It was super tasty. We still finished it. Hahaha.

It was a feast! I wasn't sure we were hungry or greedy. Or both. I was a tad embarrassed that we ordered so much to fill up the whole table till it was overflowing. Oops. All the meats, protein, vegetables, and even a giant tray of spicy soup leng saep (เล้งแซ่บ, spicy pork spine soup).

We ate very well. And we still tapau-ed home the rest of the grilled chicken, the Isaan grilled pork, bit of pork ribs and spine and soup, and one piece of soft shell crab in curry. Teeeheheheh.
