Spooky

You know, between China Square I and China Square II, near Spinelli's, there's this quadrangle with swings dotting the area.

Just before midnight, on our way to the carpark at China Square II, we passed by the quadrangle.

That was when we were noticed it.

One particular swing was well, swinging. It was as if someone was sitting in it and gently swinging.

The other swings were eerily still. There were no strong gusts of wind explaining the regular rhythm of that one swing.

We stopped and stared.

The swing swung evenly. It didn't show signs of slowing down.

We weren't too sure how Newton's 3 Laws of Motion fit in here. We didn't really want to hang around. We fled into the lift, bundled into the car and hurried home.

Yea, we were spooked, alright.

You know, I applaud your courage to 'stop and stare'. I would've pretended not to have seen it and walked on. That's the advice I got from many people regarding seeing the unexplained, so as not to attract UNWANTED attention, if you know what I mean.

ahhhh! are you sure it wasn't someone who was violently swinging and just got out of the swing when u passed by???

Hmm...I guess that you did the right thing and moreover you did not 'disturb' its activities, so there was no conflict arising from it. Most importantly is that all of you are fine.
