My current pick is this gentlest Islay whisky of all.
The Bunnahabhain 18 y.o. had my attention for the longest time, but I never got around to trying it.
Indeed, it tasted of "honeyed nuts" and "rich toffee".
I thought it really creamy. I like this. I'm not impressed with the 12 y.o even thought it's pretty okay. Light, with just a hint of peat.
But this older 18 y.o. bottle is simply lovely with all its fruity hints beneath the peat.
