Tins of Biscuits

I'm a sucker for packaging. At Fortnum & Mason, I was happy to look at all the biscuits and Christmas goodies packed up in lovely big, small, tiny and gigantic tins.

I needed to grab a couple of tins to give away to people here- not bring home to Singapore. These biscuit tins are too heavy! I'm not so fond of biscuits (except the homemade ones) to even consider lugging these back. I don't know of anyone who likes biscuits all that much. But I know eveeleva will go starry-eyed over the assortment of tins available on this level.

I especially like how the honey biscuits are put in 300g tins and cheerfully labelled as the Nursery Rhyme collection. You get Pop! Goes The Weasel, Old Macdonald Had A Farm and How Much Is That Doggie In The Window in animal prints.

I do like the Dundee Cake at the store though. It's a heavy 750g cake made with BenRiach Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. Heeeeeeeee.

kikare: but but, if you put so many things in tins, won't you have to label them? otherwise you'd forget what's in which tin!

lms: quite pretty indeed!

jomel: what would you put in tins?
