One of my to-go labels for everything timeless and classic- RAOUL is chic epitomized. Their FW12 color palettes are lovely. Something for everyone. They've got the dark colors that I favor. The prints are subjective, depending on the taste of the individual. Fabrics stay conservative and dependable.
I was late for RAOUL's show, but still managed to slip in and join the friends who arrived earlier. They thought I might not make it. I thought there would be a chance I would skip it too, as work matters took priority. But as the day went on, it was clear I could make the show. The work portion ended relatively painlessly, and there was time for a swift change of clothes before whooshing into the Tent as a guest.

RAOUL is great, but a tad overpriced, don't you think? I can find similar - but cheaper (think Banana Republic) - online.
I like their palate for the coming season, the black and white with orange :)
notabilia: oh their prices have moved nearer to DKNY SG prices. :( I don't mind the workmanship and fabric used for RAOUL. Somehow, I don't wear BananaRepublic well. So it's still RAOUL for me. I do have soft spot for their designs.
supercoati: yes! those too. striking. Their SS collections are always a tad odd. They somehow do better in their AW pieces.
